The percentage cures for men diagnosed as suffering from cancer of the prostate gland are no better or worse than in other forms of cancer.

Statisticians can tell you that more than 15% of the male population of the Western World will be diagnosed with prostate cancer as some time in their life. They will also tell you that of that 15% more than half will make a full recovery from the disease. Another area being investigated is to help the body's immune system to recognize cells that are harmful to it, and destroy it. However as no one has ever managed to discover what actually causes cancer to appear, it would seem that it will take conventional medicine a considerable time to find a cure for cancer if ever.
