Do You Have Advanced Prostate Cancer?
Prostate cancer can be described as
a silent killer. The reason is that it advances very slowly in the patient's
body with no dramatic prostate
cancer symptoms. In the last two decades, with increased
awareness of cancer in general and prostate cancer among men in high
risk bracket, more and more people are appearing at their local clinic
or health care center for a screening. Those with a clean bill of health
go home and carry on with their daily lives.
However there are those
who were not diagnosed with prostate cancer who actually have been stricken
with the disease. There are many cases where the disease cannot be traced
till it reaches the most advanced age. There are also many men who prefer
to "bury their heads in the sand" and do not attend screening
sessions. In any event, there are
many men who slips thorough the net and the cancer grow steadily and
may well begin to spread throughout their body. Firstly the patient will
begin to wake up in the middle of the night, and experience a strong
desire to urinate which cannot be ignored. This will become a regular
occurrence. These are the first stages
that the disease is spreading. The next stage may be the start of erectile
dysfunction closely followed by urinal incontinence. As the stages begin
to increase, up to moment when the patient sees signs of blood in his
urine or semen, then at last, he should begin to realize that he has
a problem.
As soon as he does, then
the next immediate step is a visit to the family doctor or health clinic.
But it may be too late. Doctors will immediately carry out a series of tests. Firstly they will want diagnose if the patient has prostate cancer. If so they will want to see if the disease is localized or if it has spread Advanced prostate cancer is extremely difficult to treat,
and the treatments involved are very traumatic for the patient and his
loved ones. Surgery is almost inevitable, or radiology or both. To top
things off, the patient will then need to go through an extended course
of chemotherapy, bring with it, its own debilitating set of side effects. In other words, a rosy future is not predicted for those
who have allowed their prostate cancer to reach an advanced stage. However there is an alternative treatment available that might prevent all this suffering. Known as the holistic approach, this form of treatment has produced remarkable results in the treatment in all forms of cancer, not only that prostate. Many prostate cancer sufferers, considered to be terminally ill with cancer of the prostate gland, went on to make full recoveries live normal and healthy lives till today. One cannot argue these facts and more and more men
should make sure that they can catch the disease as early as possible
by doing annual screenings to present the disease advancing. There are
many theories that exist that following a path of homeopthical treatments
may well prevent the disease occurring in their bodies in the first
place.
